Colyer Cares
Louisville is home. We act like it.
The nonprofits we sponsor, the events we show up to, and the partners we keep coming back for. Less PR, more presence.
Why "Colyer Cares"
Not a PR move.
Tony grew up in Fern Creek. The kid who eats half a fried fish dinner at the parish fundraiser, then helps wash the trays - that was him long before there was a firm with his name on it. Showing up wasn't a strategy. It was just what people in this neighborhood did, and it's still what we do.
So when we started cutting checks and showing up at events, we didn't want it to read like a press release. No ribbon-cuttings staged for a photographer. No big foundation with a glossy annual report. Just Louisville organizations doing real work, and a firm that has the means to back them. We call it Colyer Cares because it needed a name. The work is what matters.
Below: the partners we keep coming back to, the events we'll be at this year, and a way to put a group on our radar if we should be backing them too.

A scholarship
worth the work.
Last year’s Safe Driving Essay Scholarship was a blast. It’s a lot of work - but the good kind. The kind that gets us out in the community and into real conversations with Louisville students about something that actually matters: getting home safe.
We award it to an area student who writes the most thoughtful essay on safe driving. The next application window posts here - in the meantime, if you’re a student, parent, or teacher who wants the details, just reach out.
